Accessories for electric systems
When operating an electric underfloor heating system, a regulator is essential to control the temperature of the room. The regulator of the underfloor heating system detects the current temperature in the floor via a temperature sensor and compares it with the specified temperature. In the event of deviations, the regulator turns the underfloor heating system either on or off.
Which regulator is the right one for me?
With the standard regulator and the digital regulator, the heat of the underfloor heating system can be controlled extremely conveniently. Their user-friendliness makes operation child’s play. Depending on the level of comfort you are after, you can easily connect either of the two regulators to the electric underfloor temperature control system or the electric underfloor temperature control film. Both thermostat regulators come with their own benefits. If you want to regulate the temperature of the underfloor heating system according to the day of the week and time of the day depending on your needs, then we would recommend the digital regulator. The standard regulator can simply be switched on and off and controlled using a preset temperature.
Standard regulator
This regulator automatically controls the temperature of an underfloor heating system. A connected NTC thermistor measures the temperature of the underfloor heating system at the place of installation, e.g. in the heated screed, or in the heated wall construction and switches the heating “On” or “Off” depending on the set temperature value. By turning the rotary knob on the front, the temperature of the underfloor heating system can be adjusted to the desired value. A green LED indicates that the underfloor heating system has been started up. Underfloor heaters covering a surface area of up to 15 m² (2400 watts) can be controlled by one regulator at the same time.
Digital regulator
A connected NTC thermistor measures the temperature in the heating level and switches the heating ON or OFF depending on the set temperature value. An additional temperature limiter ensures that the maximum permissible temperature of the underfloor heating system cannot be exceeded. The digital regulator can be operated both manually or automatically. It features a frost protection and error alarm function as well as a daily and weekly program for turning the surface heating system on and off. A regulator can regulate the temperature of an underfloor heater covering a surface area of up to 15 m² (2400 watts).
